Mike Bionde posed with Coach Hill after receiving his Rawlings Gold Glove Award at halftime of the Rutgers-Connecticut basketball game on Feb. 26. Bionde was selected as the top second baseman in the nation by the American Baseball Coaches Association for his performance last season. He made just six errors in 319 chances for a stellar .981 fielding percentage and contributed to 50 of the team’s 60 double plays in 2007.
