Former Fighting Illini catcher Lars Davis and outfielder Kyle Hudson have been assigned to a pair of fall developmental leagues by their respective teams, the Colorado Rockies and the Baltimore Orioles. Davis will play for the Honolulu Sharks in the Hawaii Winter Baseball League, while Hudson will play in the Florida Instructional League after missing most of the 2008 season with a broken finger.
